1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store on your device. Related technologies — local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels — do similar jobs. 2. What the Site Itself Sets: Nothing

The Site is a set of static pages. Its own code sets no first-party cookies and writes nothing to local or session storage. You do not need to log in, nothing is remembered between visits, and there is no cookie-based personalization to turn off.

To be unambiguous about technologies this Site does not use:

• No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any other analytics or heat-mapping tag
• No Meta/Facebook pixel, TikTok pixel, Google Ads tag, or other advertising or remarketing tracker
• No embedded video player, social-media widget, live-chat widget, or comment system
• No cross-site, cross-device, or behavioral profiling of visitors

3. Third-Party Technologies in Use

Three outside providers are involved in delivering the Site. Here is precisely what each one does:

Other companies we work with — our patient portal provider Curve Dental / CurveConnex, the financing partners Sunbit and CareCredit, and the job-listing platform Gusto — are reached by links that leave this Site. They set no cookies here. Once you follow one of those links, that company’s own cookie and privacy terms apply.

4. Managing and Blocking Cookies

Because the Site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics or advertising trackers, there is no consent banner and nothing for you to opt out of here. If you still want to restrict what any site may store, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data:

Email tracking. To stop Flodesk from measuring opens in our newsletter, set your email program to block remote images, or unsubscribe using the link in any email.

Please note: Blocking all cookies and scripts may prevent the newsletter form from appearing or the contact form from submitting. The rest of the Site — every page, phone number, map, and service description — works with cookies fully disabled.

5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) header or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. There is no accepted technical standard for how a website should answer DNT, so the Site does not respond to it programmatically. In substance, however, the Site already behaves the way those signals ask: it runs no analytics or advertising trackers, builds no visitor profiles, and neither sells nor shares personal information.

6. Visitors Outside the United States

Better Health Dental is a single dental practice serving Decatur, Georgia and the surrounding communities. The Site is intended for visitors in the United States, and our information is stored and processed in the United States. We do not direct the Site to, or offer services in, the European Union or the United Kingdom.

7. Changes to This Policy

If the technologies on the Site change — for example if analytics or an embedded video player is ever added — we will update this page before or at the time that change goes live, revise the Effective Date and Last Updated date at the top, and add a consent mechanism if one becomes necessary.
