Specializing in Family Dentistry, we offer a full range of services, from cleanings, to root canal therapy, to teeth whitening, and even emergency services. We’re a dental startup and our new dental studio is nestled beautifully in the heart of downtown Decatur, GA. We’re looking for a dental assistant to join our growing team.

The Patient Care Concierge Experience at BHD:
From the moment the patient steps in our office we want to make sure that they are well taken care of. You are not just assisting the doctor during the procedure, you are also responsible for assisting the patient through the entire appointment and experience. Once the appointment is completed, the patient will be assigned to you and you will manage their experience in the office. This means that the patient will rely on you to answer questions, follow up after treatment, and manage their case if they have one. While this is a non traditional approach, we want to make sure that each patient has a clear understanding of what is involved in their treatment plan.
You will be responsible for explaining treatment to them and answering questions that can be answered by you. You are an extension of the treating doctor. Your wisdom and knowledge of dentistry will be ever so important in this role, because both the patient and doctor will rely on you to be organized, attentive, enthusiastic, and available to meet their needs.
Our Patient Care Concierge also:
Prepares the patient suite to provide a calm and welcoming environment.
Maintains a safe and clean working space in compliance with procedures and regulations.
Increases the efficiency of our dentists and their delivery of quality oral care for each of our patients.
Actively participates in daily team huddles.
Our Patient Care Concierge is part of a collaborative dental team, with supportive leadership, and access to ongoing training to advance career development.
You’re a dental assistant who has:
Any certifications, registrations, or licenses for dental assistants is a plus.
Active CPR/BLS certification
Strong patient care and communication skills
Excitement about collaborating with a dental team
Adaptability to new ways of working in a dental office
