TO FLOSS OR NOT

One of the most common questions that we are asked in our office is why flossing is important.

We can't stress the importance of flossing enough! People ask if you should floss before or after you brush. It doesn't matter either way.

You can even floss while watching your favorite show (just remember to wash your hands afterward).

The important thing is that you make sure you're getting in between your teeth to remove all the food debris left behind after brushing.

Flossing helps to prevent cavities in between the teeth. These sneaky cavities only appear on the x-ray when you've visited your dentist.

These cavities often lead to root canal therapy because the patient does not recognize them until it's too late.

So, I say all of this simply: Floss every day.

Twice a Day!

After you eat or when you brush doesn't matter. Just get all those remnants out and then top it off with a top-notch medicated rinse, and you'll be on your way to Better Dental Health! or should I say Better Health Dental!
